CEF celebrates anniversary, announces concert

first_imgMilan, In. — The Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centered organization designed to evangelize young people with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish them in a local church. The group is celebrating 80 years of operation this year.The group offers the Good News Club ® to local youths as well. Trained teachers meet with groups of children in schools, homes, community centers, churches, apartment complexes, just about anywhere the children can easily and safely meet with their parent’s permission. Each week the teacher presents an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials. The program also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme.The group will hold a concert featuring “This Hope” on Monday, November 27 at the Bridge of Hope Worship Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. the center is located at 4050 East County Road 50 South in Milan.The local chapter serves 16 counties and has an office in Versailles.
