Shooting near Regina General Hospital injures man

Police believe a shooting near the Regina General Hospital that injured a man early Thursday morning was not random.According to a Regina Police Service (RPS) news release, police responded to the 2200 block of Osler Street at approximately 12:40 a.m. after getting reports that someone had been shot in the area.Not long after those reports came in, a man arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound. He is still in hospital with what police described as a non-life threatening injury. Police are still investigating the shooting, but believe it was not a random act.
