first_imgShare Facebook Twitter Google + LinkedIn Pinterest We are pretty soggy. We got quite a bit of rain through the week but we have not had serious flooding issues. You can see spots where crops are starting to suffer from too much water, though. Most guys are finished up with the first cutting of hay and guys are hoping to get started with second cutting this week if it dries out a little. It looks like there will be pretty good volume there with all of the moisture we have had. There is some wheat going down with the rain we have had but over all it is still standing pretty well. There are some ponded wet spots that always hold water. Further north they had a lot more rain than we did and they had some corn under water up around the Medina area.I haven’t heard a lot of people talking with a high level of concern about the amount of rain we have had, but we have plenty for now. I haven’t seen any pest problems or diseases yet. Some of the soybean fields have weeds that are pretty tall because nobody has been able to get in and spray.last_img
