first_img Part 1: Invisible, incapacitating concussions are sidelining high school athletes – July 19, 2016 BLUE HILL — The Trenton Acadians improved their record to 6-3 in American Legion Zone 1 baseball action with a 5-1 win over Waldo on Sunday.With the score tied 1-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning, Trenton’s Dakota Chipman executed a bunt down the first base line for a single to drive Finn Allwine home. The Acadians scored two more runs that inning.Trenton’s pitcher struck out eight in six-plus innings. Hank Vinall notched a double and an RBI. Garrison Looke contributed a double and two runs. Nick Bagley had a triple and scored a run.The win came after topping Dover-Foxcroft’s Penquis 5-3 on Tuesday, July 1, and a 11-0 loss to  Bangor on Saturday.Find in-depth coverage of local news in The Ellsworth American.
