Panthers FB Alex Armah used ‘arm bar’ to detain alleged car thief

Panthers sign safety Eric Reid to 3-year contract extension Daniel Cagle, 32, was confronted by Armah and taken to the front office of the apartment building to check the security cameras, according to the Observer. That’s when he tried to flee. Armah, 24, recently had to use an “arm-bar” move to detain an attempted car thief who tried to break into his vehicle, according to the Charlotte Observer.Armah was working out in his apartment when he received an alert on his phone showing a still frame of someone in his car going through his things. Related News “I snatched him up by his shirt,” Armah said after Cagle tried to make a run for it. “Eventually I got him on the ground, and I put him in an arm bar.””The guy wasn’t small, he had some size on him, but he didn’t have a chance.
